FCCB #100 - Color Challenge

Hi All,
The challenge over at the Fantabulous Cricut Challenge blog this week is to create a project
Use the three colours associated with Fantabulous Cricut
(purple, green and turquoise) somewhere on your project.
I used my Wild Card Cricut cartridge to cut out the card base and overlays.
This is Willow, a digital images from the Lil Fashionette collection over at Tickled Pink stamps.
The sentiment is computer generated by me.
And the image was coloured up with my Stampin' Up! pencil crayons and gamsol.

Happiness...

Hi All,
just a quick post today!
I had this image coloured up for quite some time now,
and I make a card with it last weekend.
The stamp set is Serenite from Stampin' Up! (retired).
I embossed the background with the
Vintage Wallpaper embossing folder form Stampin' Up!
This double edge Doily Lace punch from Martha Stewart is a nice answer to ribbon.
I added some bling and faux stitching lines.

FCCB #99 - Fancy Trims

Hi All,
The challenge over at the Fantabulous Cricut Challenge blog this week is to
create a project Using fabric, lace or other trims.
A friend of mine asked me to make a baby card
for a family member who just had a baby.
So naturally, my first thought was this adorable cut from
the Wild Card Cricut cartridge (pg.76).
The sentiment from Sweet Little Sentiments - Stampin' Up!
is layered onto Nestabilities ovals and Scallop ovals.
Using a chocolate chip Stampin' Write marker,
I added stitching lines all around and highlights with a white gel pen.
I sponged the edges and added
Lace Trim from KaiserCraft and a bow to finish.

Tulip!

Hi All,
Thought I would share this with everybody,
A friend of mine asked me to make a card for her mother's birthday.
Her Mom she lives in Jamaica and has beautiful flower gardens.
So, since tulips don't grow in Jamaica,
I thought this would be the best theme for her card.
and coloured it up with my Stampin' Up! pencil crayons and Gamsol.
I then die cut the image using Spellbinders Curved Rectangles,
and layered it on to Basic Grey's Picadilly designer paper then added dollar store ribbon.
from Stampin' Up!

Hi All,
Challenge me Monday over at the
'Include a funny title or phrase"
So, I came up with this.
I started with a green base cut from the

Hi all,
A friend of mine just lost her dad suddenly,
I wanted to let her know that I'm thinking about her in her time of loss.
So, I made this card for her.
To make this card, I started with a Bermuda Bay (retired) base,
then I coloured up this Apothecary Art label
using my Copic markers.
I cut out the label using the new
The sentiment is from Lizzie Anne Designs - Au Naturale
I then used the Framed Tulips embossing folder
to cover the background and popped it up with pop dots.
These are all from Stampin' Up!.

FCCB #97 – Love is in the air

Hi All,
Challenge me Monday over at the
"include a heart in your project"
I started out using this cut from the
and used this designer paper from
Basic Grey - Max & Whiskers 6 x 6 paper pad.
I always resort to this stack when doing masculine cards.
Instead of having the usual round dimples on mushroom caps,
I made them hearts. Also added glossy accents to the heart cutout that I used in the sentiment.
The card base is craft paper from Michael's
The sentiments are two combined from Stamping Bella and the Unity Stamp Co.
Hope you like!!

Hello Friend!...

Hi All,
One of my guy friends celebrated a birthday last week.
I noticed that I tend to do a lot of brown/ burgundy for my masculine cards,
but I wanted this one to be cheerful so I used this designer paper from this
paper stack by
My Mind's Eye - Fine & Dandy Boy
The bird stamp is one I've had since I started stamping back in 2009.
I've been looking for a cloud stamp like this one for along time and
finally found this one at Michael's.
The other sentiments are from various sets here and there.
On the inside it says 'Happy Birdy to you'.
My friend like the card and he had a happy birthday.
