Mini Album...

Once again, our clever & talented Stampin' Up! demonstrator Diane,
showed us how to put together this beautiful
last night at our bi-monthly workshop.
In Colour designer paper was used to dress it up,
along with some discontinued colours on a chocolate chip base.
The 8"x 6" closed front is shown above.

It opens like this...
The layout allows for 5 photos and at least 4 journalling panes.

Since I'm not a scrap-booker,
this layout is just the right size for
commemorating a special occasion.
this will be my 'go to' mini album from now on!
Thanks Diane!

Another Friday Frenzy Challenge!

I made this card up for another Sketch Frenzy Friday challenge.
You can join in the challenge by clicking HERE.
So, I used the Pattern Pieces stamp by Stampin' Up!
I just love this, it brings me back to the days when I
would sew up a dress that evening and
where it to school or workthe following morning.
I also used Simply Handmade and Sew Stylish both from
Hero Arts for background & sentiment.
Card stock is crumb cake from Stampin' Up!
and the Designer paper is Sweet Nectar 6 x 6 pad
from K&Company purchased at Michael's.

Frenzy Friday Blog Challenge!

I wanted to use the Rock & Roll technique I learned in my stamp group a couple months ago.
Our Stampin Up! demonstrator Diane, showed us how to do it. You can link to her website here.
You use a stamp that is round or is the same dimensions all around.
You ink up the whole stamp using the lighter shade, then ink the darker shade by rolling only the outer edges of the stamp in the darker ink. I used rose blush for the dark shade and pink blossom for the lighter (Stampin Up!).
It gives a neat effect!
The sentiment is covered by the bow but it says:
"May today be the beginning of a love that lasts forever"

Stamps are from Stampin Up! & Basic Grey.

Big Kiss!

This card is the result of a conversation I was having with one of my girlfriends.
The sentiment was originally going to say
"You Suck",
But I decided to turn the other cheek and say
"Hugs & Kisses".
The designer paper was distress embossed like Gina K. did HERE in her video.
The accessories are Bitty Buttons from Stampin' Up!
