FCCB - National Tooth Fairy Day...

Hi All,
In recognition of National Tooth Fairy Day,
has another great challenge for us today.
This time the challenge is to make a project
using a tooth, tooth fairy or smile.
I chose to make a window card using the word phrase 'Smile'
from the Gypsy Wanderings cartridge.
All the layers for this card are cut from the great new petite paper stack from Lawn Fawn.
The card was finished by adding some stitching lines in white and black
pens along with a small punch flower over the 'i'.
Remember to check out the other great projects in this
challenge today by the Fantabulous design team.

FCCB #123 - Jump in and Cool off!...

Make a Splash...On you Birthday!
Another great challenge from the Fantabulous Cricut Challenge Blog this week!
Challenge #123 is Jump in and Cool off! Make a project with a water theme.
I've always loved this bikini on the Nifity Fifties cartridge,
So this was my chance to use it.
The font on the Kate's ABC's cartridge is also useful for large word card images.
I added this punched boarder from EK Success - Beach Scene.
....and sticking lines alway finish off a card nicely

FCCB - #117 B-B-Q Time

Hi All,
Another great challenge from the Fantabulous Cricut Challenge Blog.
This week the challenge is B-B-Q Time:
Make a project using BBQ or picnic foods.
What says summer more than a juicy slice of watermelon?
For my project I used 2 cricut cartridges, Live Simply & Potpourri Basket.
I added some faux stitching and twine to a ColorBok button.
The sentiment I chose is from a discontinued set
My Favorite Things - Feelin' Fruity.

Thanks for stoppin' by...

FCCB Father's Day...

Hi All,
Another great challenge over at the Fantabulous Cricut Challenge blog.
This week the challenge is Father's Day.
Here I used the Kate's ABCs cricut cartridge, cut the letters along with the shadow feature at 2.8"
and ran it through my Cuttlebug using my Square Lattice embossing folder from Stampin' Up! to add texture.
The little truck is cut at 1.75" from the Wild Card Cricut cartridge.
I sponged all the edges and added highlights with a white gel pen.
Using Jessie's ABCs from Lawn Fawn for the sentiment, I stamped the letters and then cut it into a flag shape. These alphabet stamp sets, great when you don't have the right stamp.
The card ended up being about 3" x 8" which can fit in a #10 envelope.
Thanks again....
