FCCB #102 - In Like a Lion

Hi All,
The challenge over at the Fantabulous Cricut Challenge blog
this week, is to make a project with any sort of cat, tiger, lion, etc. on it.
This sassy lookin' cool cat is a cut from the Nifty Fifties Cricut Cartridge,
I brushed on a white ink pad to define certain areas and added some bling to the collar.

(if you hurry you can still purchase this set before they are all gone).
I punched it out with a nestabilities die and sponged the edges in pink.

Let It Snow!

A Happy New Year to all,
The challenge this week over at
is to make a project with snow or snowflakes on it.
I started out with a 4 1/4" x 4 1/4" card base.
I love this sentiment from Robin's Creative Cottage -
Snowman's Prayer. So I cut it apart to make the two.
(hope Robin doesn't mind).

The snowflake cut is from the

I added some pearls and bling,
Martha Stewart baker's twine and
the paper is Basic Grey - Nordic Holiday

The tag is from

I used this plaid ribbon for the snowman's scarf
and ran his hat through my Cuttlebug
using the Tim Holts Bricked embossing folder for texture.

Let it Sparkle!

Hi All,
Today's (Tuesday) challenge over at
Let it Sparkle - project using glitter, jewels any bling!
The sentiment and the flourish on the cup is from
such a versatile stamp set, not just for the holidays.
This frame from Elegant Edges Cricut cartridge,
reminds me of a string of Christmas light.
I used this technique of embossing aluminum foil
for the background.
