A book is a Gift!


I always tend to use Stampin Up for my basics, like ink, solid papers & paint.
Which is what I've done here, just simply because you can't lose when matching colours.
You can get a deeper looking embossed image by inking up your embossing folder before you run it through your machine, check out this tutorial by Gina K on stampTV


This card didn't turn out quite the way a I had intended...not too bad though!

Paper: Very Vanilla - Stampin Up, Pretty in Pink - Stampin Up
Ink: Chocolate chip - Stampin Up
Accessories: ribbon & brads - Dollar Store,
Technique: paint: Watercolor pencils Stampin Up, blender pen, Fancy tags - Nestabilities, scalloped square (shape-4-037) - QuicKutz, emboss background: Perfectly Paisley - Cuttlebug, sponged edges & corners with: sponge dauber - Tsukineko

...and i rounded the corners with my We R Memory Keepers corner chomper
