Father's Day is fast approching...

A friend of mine at work, asked me to make a father's day card for her.

So I employed Gina K's technique for the wood grain effect.

I used and old faithful stamp here called

The sentiment is Hero Arts.

p.s. Sorry if things look a little different...

Quick Post of a Quick Card!

I was over in Buffalo, NY this holiday weekend
and picked up the Nifty Fifties Cartridge for $29 at Joann.
What a deal!!!!
My friend at work is celebrating her 30th today,
so I had to make up a card quick.
She loves hamburgers, so when I saw this one on the cartridge
I immediately thought it would be perfect.
Added some Stickles to the candle and sesame seeds
and it was done. Quick and easy!

Hey Glamour Girl!

I'm really lovin' these stamps by Kraftin Kimmie.
I made this card with my niece in mind.
Cuz she is a glamor girl,
but her birthday isn't 'til later in the year.
The paper is the new Hello Luscious collection from Basic Grey.
And I used my Cricut to cut out the
frame from the Forever Young cartridge.

My friend Laurie gave me this adorable stamp set from
It has cute sentiments and the most adorable little dog.
I'll be making cards with this set for a long time.
So... I tried my hand again at Copic colouring on this stamp,
and I think it worked out pretty well.
Leave me a comment and let me know what you think,
please????
The paper is from Cosmo Criket's mini deck 'Togetherness'.
I coloured the flower with the same colour marker
