Hi All,
The challenge over at the Fantabulous Cricut Challenge blog this week is to
create a project Using fabric, lace or other trims.
A friend of mine asked me to make a baby card
for a family member who just had a baby.
for a family member who just had a baby.
So naturally, my first thought was this adorable cut from
the Wild Card Cricut cartridge (pg.76).
The sentiment from Sweet Little Sentiments - Stampin' Up!
is layered onto Nestabilities ovals and Scallop ovals.
Using a chocolate chip Stampin' Write marker,
I added stitching lines all around and highlights with a white gel pen.
I sponged the edges and added
Lace Trim from KaiserCraft and a bow to finish.

Beautiful card, love your distressing and colors. Wild card is one of my favorites.
ReplyDeleteToo adorable. The distressing is amazing.
ReplyDeleteYour card is beautiful. I sure hope the recipient puts it in the baby book. I need to make two, but I don't think they will look this great.
ReplyDeleteNicely done,

I love this (for a number of reasons) because it has some soft colors that say "baby," but also has a stylish sophistication for the most cosmopolitan of moms. WONDERFUL execution of a card from an oldie-but-a-goodie cart!
