FCCB #99 - Fancy Trims

Hi All,
The challenge over at the Fantabulous Cricut Challenge blog this week is to
create a project Using fabric, lace or other trims.
A friend of mine asked me to make a baby card
for a family member who just had a baby.
So naturally, my first thought was this adorable cut from
the Wild Card Cricut cartridge (pg.76).
The sentiment from Sweet Little Sentiments - Stampin' Up!
is layered onto Nestabilities ovals and Scallop ovals.
Using a chocolate chip Stampin' Write marker,
I added stitching lines all around and highlights with a white gel pen.
I sponged the edges and added
Lace Trim from KaiserCraft and a bow to finish.

Thanks for stoppin' by...

  1. Beautiful card, love your distressing and colors. Wild card is one of my favorites.

  2. Too adorable. The distressing is amazing.

  3. Your card is beautiful. I sure hope the recipient puts it in the baby book. I need to make two, but I don't think they will look this great.

    Nicely done,
    Carson's Creations

  4. What an adorable baby card Sheila!! It is just darling and love how you added the fun ribbon trim:) Very cute!

  5. I love this (for a number of reasons) because it has some soft colors that say "baby," but also has a stylish sophistication for the most cosmopolitan of moms. WONDERFUL execution of a card from an oldie-but-a-goodie cart!

  6. I love your card, it is wonderul! Thank you for joining us at FCCB this week!
