FCCB 132 - Columbus Day

Hi All,
Happy Thanksgiving.
The challenge this week over at the Fantabulous Cricut Challenge Blog is
Columbus Day, make a project with a ship on it.
I didn't have a ship so, I decided make a baby card using this sweet little boat from the Gypsy Wanderings cartridge.
I cut out the boat using the shadow feature to make the shape, then I cut out the boat and ran it through a swiss dots embossing folder. By sponging on some Tim Holts Faded Jeans the dots were more enhanced. The faux stitching line completed the look.

FCCB #111 - "Prom-enade"

Hi All,
Another great challenge over at the Fantabulous Cricut Blog.
This weeks challenge 'Prom-enade', is to
make a project using a tux/dress or prom/dance theme.
I came up with this card using the Forever Young cricut cartridge
which happens to be my favourite.
Because I thought this absolutely great sentiment,
(Be Yourself from Close To My Heart-retired),
is such good advise for young ones
leaving high school and moving into another mode of life,
I wanted my card to look like these 5 girlfriends
came to the prom all looking like individuals.
....and of course what better designer paper to use but
Hello Luscious by Basic Grey.
The card base, which ends up being about 4"x 6"
was cut using my Cuttlebug and Spellbinders Curved Rectangles.

FCCB #104 - Out like a Lamb...

Hi All,
The challenge over at the Fantabulous Cricut Challenge Blog this week is Out Like a Lamb.
Create a project with a gentle animal Lamb, kitten etc.
I chose to make this shaped card, and put a gentle bunny on my project with consideration to the Easter holiday coming up.
The designer paper I used here is a DCWV- Garden Party paper stack I purchase from Big Lots when I was doing some shopping in the US last fall.
I used the Kate's ABCs Cartridge for my main image and
Elegant Edges Cartridge for the border and card base.
I punched some butterflies using Martha Stewart's Butterfly punch.
The Happy Easter sentiment is Well Scripted - Stampin' Up!.

FCCB #100 - Color Challenge

Hi All,
The challenge over at the Fantabulous Cricut Challenge blog this week is to create a project
Use the three colours associated with Fantabulous Cricut
(purple, green and turquoise) somewhere on your project.
I used my Wild Card Cricut cartridge to cut out the card base and overlays.
This is Willow, a digital images from the Lil Fashionette collection over at Tickled Pink stamps.
The sentiment is computer generated by me.
And the image was coloured up with my Stampin' Up! pencil crayons and gamsol.
