Sew...Happy Birthday!

One of my three sisters, the oldest one, is an excellent seamstress. She can sew up anything she puts her mind to, from curtains to wedding dresses.
So... when I saw this Simply Handmade stamp set from Hero Arts, I thought of her.
The 1920's lady is from a mountain of unmounted stamps I purchased off of ebay about a year ago. The two together give the feel of 'old world charm'.

Stamps: Simply Handmade-Hero Arts, happy birthday - Stamping Bella, linen background stamp - Stampin Up!
Paper: ivory card stock - Michaels, pretty in pink, creamy caramel-Stampin Up!
Ink: black - Stampin Up!
Accessories: dollar store ribbon, buttons - Bo Bunny, button brads - Making Memories
Techniques: paper piecing, paint

Thanks again for stoppin by...
