"Spooky Time"



Hi All,
Another great challenge from the Fabulous Cricut Challenge blog.
I started out with the Ornamental Iron Cricut cartridge,
using my Gypsy, I welded an A2 size rectangle to the 2 gates.
I wanted it to look like the viewer is looking through a gate.
Theresa Momber over at Crafting the Web
has some great tutorials on how to make scenes like this
by masking off and applying ink with sponge applicators etc.
I used various distress inks from Tim Holtz.
I cut out the bats from the Wild Card Cricut Cartridge (pg.68)
The scary house stamp is just a $1.50 stamp from Michaels.
The picture below shows the sentiment hanging on the gate.

  6. Wow...this is an amazing card! At first glance, I thought you had used a piece of cardstock with that scene printed on it! You have done a wonderful job of creating such a spooky, fun Halloween scene...I love it!

  17. May I ask you which file from the cartridge you used. It looks like the second or third image on the whole sheet when you are looking at it.
