YNS Fun Friday Challenge...

Another Fun Friday challenge at YNS.
With Valentines Day just around the corner, we'll have to get moving on making those cards.
For my card I chose to use this sweet little image here called
I coloured it up again with my pencil crayons and gambol and fussy cut it out and popped it up on a die cut oval, which I then layered onto some designer paper from the Kissing Booth paper stack by Basic Grey. I tied a bow using some brown dollar store ribbon and added a computer generated sentiment to compliment the image. I layered it all onto some pink card stock and added fake stitching lines with a marker to match the designer paper..
The challenge again is as the Sketch and Inspirational Photo shown below.
Be sure to check out the other designs made by some talented ladies on our design team.

YNS Fun Friday Challenge

It the Fun Friday challenge over at the YNS Challenge Blog again.
This month the new Sketch and Inspirational Photo are as shown below.
For my project, I chose to use this image called Blossom Birds.
Its really a valentines image but choose to make it a sympathy card.
So I coloured the image with my pencil crayons and gambol and die cut it using the Labels 23 die from Nestabilities. I then made a 'mask using the Kissing Booth 6 x 6 paper stack from Basic Grey, then die cut a window using the same die and popped it up with foam squares. The sentiment is computer generated which I printed and die cut using the Fancy Tags die also from Nestabilities.
Besure to go over to the YNS Challenge Blog to get some inspiration and ideas and play along with us.

Merry Snow Family...YNS digital

Hi All,
Another great image form YNS' digital stamps.
This adorable image is called Snowman Family I printed it on Stampin' Up whisper white cardstock and coloured it with my topic markers. Then die cut it out using my circle dies.
I added glitter to accent the fuzz on hats, scarves and anywhere a snow person would glisten.
The background designer series paper Eskimo Kisses from Basic Grey, which I layered on some white and then onto a cherry cobbler card stock base. The sentiment is die cut from Teresa Collins Christmas Home 6 x 6 paper stack.

Fun Friday at YNS...

Hi All,
its another fun Friday over at Your Next Stamp and I'm showcasing one of their new line of digital stamps. The original stamp - Make a Wish - has more of a holiday theme to it than this but I cut her out of the background and i now have a more generic theme. Digital stamps are that versatile too. I coloured her up with my copic markers to compliment these dp from Lawn Fawn.
Check out the digi stamps and more over at YNS. I guarantee you'll love them.

Thanks for stopping in...

Be Happy!

Hi All,
and this gorgeous stamp Tulip Garden from Your Next Stamp in the same week,
and I just had to put them together on a card.
So happy with how this card turned out.
I coloured up the tulip garden with my copic markers and
cut it out (very painstakingly) with my fiskers knife and Cutter Bee scissors.
I then used my Morocco Lace punch from Ek Success to hang a valance in the die cut window.
The sentiment is retired from Stampin' Up!
and the designer paper is 6 x 6 My Mind's Eye - Quite Contrary - Jack & Jill
on a craft card base.
